Privacy Policy — Siperlabs

This Privacy Policy explains how Siperlabs ("we", "us", "Siperlabs") handles information in connection with our products, including the Siper Flow Edge browser extension (Lite and Enterprise editions, available for Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox) and the Siper Guard MCP security gateway.

Siper Flow Edge Lite — Browser Extension

Summary: Siper Flow Edge Lite runs entirely inside your browser. It does not send any data to Siperlabs, does not use analytics or tracking, and does not require an account.

What the extension does

When you type a message into a supported AI chat application (currently chatgpt.com, claude.ai, and gemini.google.com), the extension scans the text using local pattern-matching rules to detect common sensitive data formats — for example email addresses, Turkish national identity numbers, credit card numbers, Turkish IBANs, phone numbers, IP addresses, and MAC addresses. Detected values are replaced with placeholder tokens (such as [MASKED:EMAIL]) before you send the message.

What data is collected

None. All detection and masking happens locally in your browser using built-in pattern matching. The Lite edition:

Does not transmit the text you type, or any detected values, to Siperlabs or any third party.
Does not use cookies, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Does not require you to create an account or sign in.
Requests no browser permissions beyond running on the three supported AI chat domains.

Enterprise edition

A separately licensed Enterprise edition of Siper Flow Edge can connect to a customer-operated, on-premise Endpoint Guard service for additional detection capabilities (such as name, organization, and address recognition). In that configuration, text is processed by the customer's own local server — never by Siperlabs — under the customer's own data handling policies. This policy covers the Lite/free browser extension; Enterprise customers receive additional terms as part of their license agreement.

Siper Guard

Siper Guard is a security gateway for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that customers deploy to inspect traffic between their own applications and MCP servers. Guard's community edition runs entirely within the customer's own environment. Our customer portal and license management infrastructure collect only the account and licensing information necessary to issue and validate license keys (such as account email and license tier).

Children's Privacy

Our products are intended for business and professional use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
